Too good to be true, you say? On the contrary, would it not be poor reasoning to conclude that fallen man could think of a better arrangement for the future of creatures, made in the image of Jehovah, than the all-wise loving Creator, who says he loves his creatures more than a mother does her nursing child? Eternity in perfection and boundless happiness is his promise. His purposes cannot and will not fail. |
¿Le parece demasiado bonito para ser verdad? Por el contrario, ¿no sería una falta de juicio concluir que el hombre caído puede imaginar un futuro mejor para los seres hechos a imagen de Jehová que su amoroso y omnisciente Creador, quien asegura que ama a sus criaturas más que una madre a su niño de pecho? Él promete la eternidad en perfección y felicidad sin límites. Sus propósitos no pueden fallar, y no fallarán. |

After every war there is a necessary period of rehabilitation. That means that those who will represent the King, Jesus Christ, must be trained and equipped before the final war so that no period of anarchy will immediately follow it. The New World society is being prepared now by the many lessons it has learned and by its experiences in operating under all kinds of conditions, favorable and unfavorable. As a result, there is being developed world-wide, a society of hundreds of thousands of persons with a keen appreciation of God's righteous requirements who are willing to accept any cost to themselves rather than compromise or slacken their hold on the way of life that is pleasing to God. They do this because they love God more than anything else. Talk to them when they come to your door. They will be pleased to help you as they themselves have been helped. |
A toda guerra le sigue un período necesario de rehabilitación. Eso significa que los que representarán al Rey, Jesucristo, deberán ser preparados y equipados antes de la batalla final para que no se produzca a continuación un tiempo de anarquía. La sociedad del Nuevo Mundo se está preparando ahora mediante las muchas lecciones que ha aprendido y sus experiencias bajo condiciones de todo tipo, favorables y desfavorables. Como resultado, se está desarrollando por todo el mundo una sociedad de centenares de miles de personas con un profundo aprecio por los justos requisitos divinos, dispuestos a pagar cualquier precio antes que ceder o aflojar el paso en su apego por el estilo de vida que agrada a Dios. Have you ever asked yourself: "How much do I really love God? If I were to find that God's Word, the Bible, contradicted what I have always believed, which would I follow? If I had to choose between some respected or dearly-loved individual and my Creator, what would be my decision? If I were suddenly forbidden by law to worship God, if continued worship might cost me my life, what would I do?" |
Se ha preguntado alguna vez: “¿Cuánto amo yo a Dios en realidad? Si descubriera que su Palabra, la Biblia, contradice lo que siempre he creído, ¿por cuál me decidiría? Si tuviera que elegir entre algún personaje respetado o querido y mi Creador, ¿cuál sería mi decisión? Si de repente la ley prohibiera adorar a Dios, y seguir haciéndolo pudiera costarme la vida, ¿qué haría?” |

You may some day be confronted with such circumstances to determine whether you have the right religion. It may be a real battle for you, but I am sure that if you make the right choice it will give you peace of mind and will be pleasing to God. I have been faced with each one of these decisions and many others also, and today I am more determined than ever to keep on in my faith. It has made life worth living for me. It is still helping me to face the future without fear. |
Quizá algún día tenga que enfrentarse a esas circunstancias para determinar si tiene la religión correcta. Puede que le suponga una verdadera batalla, pero estoy seguro de que si hace la elección correcta, sentirá paz mental y estará agradando a Dios. Al igual que muchos otros, yo me he enfrentado a todas esas decisiones, y hoy estoy más resuelto que nunca a mantener mi fe. Ha hecho que mi vida valga la pena.
