PENSANDO EN INGLÉS:
Aprender palabras extranjeras SUELTAS, sin asociar las ideas que ellas representan con otras ideas similares, es uno de los grandes errores que se dan al estudiar cualquier idioma, lo cual dificulta enormemente los efuerzos del estudiante y terminan por desanimarlo.
Otro gran error, y muy común, es el aprender frases sueltas.
Así como las ideas sin asociación mueren en la superficie del cerebro, sin dejar huellas en él, las frases sueltas siguen la misma suerte.
Por eso es bueno estudiar frases JUGANDO con ellas, osea, presentando las mismas frases en diversas actitudes de tiempo, lugar y personas, lo cual hará que se vayan formando en la mente del estudiante ciertos MOLDES MENTALES que le permitirán formar miles de otras frases y que le ayudarán mucho a aprender a PENSAR EN INGLÉS sin innecesarios esfuerzos ni pérdidas de tiempo.
Sólo después de haber estudiado atentamente toda la lección dos y haber realizado de forma correcta el examen de la misma, deberá estudiar las frases que siguen, dedicando tanto tiempo como sea necesario, hasta familiarizarse con todas ellas.
I will go today – yo iré hoy
I will go tomorrow – yo iré mañana
He will go tomorrow – El irá mañana
We will go today – Nosotros iremos hoy

He keeps his word – El mantiene su palabra

She says that I am wrong – Ella dice que yo estoy equivocado
They say that you are wrong – Ellos dicen que usted está equivocado
They will send the book tomorrow in the morning – Ellos enviarán el libro mañana en la mañana
She will send the book tomorrow – Ella enviará el libro mañana
It takes time to do that – Tomará tiempo hacer eso
It will take time to do that – Tomará tiempo hacer eso
*Note que al verbo no se le agrega la letra “s” con HE, SHE e IT, en el tiempo futuro el verbo permanece sin cambio, sólo se le agrega “will”.
I do all my work in the morning – Yo hago todo mi trabajo en la mañana
I will do all that work in the morning – Yo haré todo ese trabajo en la mañana
I am doing all this work in the morning – Yo estoy haciendo todo este trabajo en la mañana
She puts the meal on the table – Ella pone la comida sobre la mesa
